Magic Item 1: The Revolver
The revolver is a mundane looking 6 shot Colt Single Action Army. Engraved on each chamber on the cylinder is a number ranging 1-6. In each chamber is a spirit attached to the gun, there are 6 spirits total. Depending on which chamber is ready to be fired that spirit will be “in charge”. That spirit will be guiding the person holding the revolver.
Spirits in the Pistol
1.Solomon- A harsh voice demanding no mercy for your enemies during combat.
2.Gabriel- A more pleasant voice compared to Solomon. The voice asks you to defeat stronger and stronger enemies, to prove the strength of the revolver.
3.Cain- A presence pleading with you to not do what you are about to do.
4.Anna- When asleep you dream of fields with an angelic figure asking you about the completion of your task and how many more lives the revolver has ended.
5.Eve- A thought at the edge of your mind forcing you to see the beauty and horror that is creation.
6.Areli- A voice that talks to you while on long treks, discussing the world around you and what must be done.
How to use this item in a game
The revolver will always fire when the trigger is pulled and will reload with ease, during combat and rapid fire situations its quiet. Its during the downtime the miles walking in the wilderness, trying to get a restful sleep by the fire that they speak to the PC. Depending on what spirit is present it will do so in different ways: It might speak in cryptic dreams at night, It might just be a spontaneous thought in the PC’s brain causing them to look at things in a new way or do a thing differently than how they would have before, or the Spirits just talk to the PC having long drawn out conversations about the world and their task at hand.
In the event that a Player completely rejects anything from the pistol it may refuse to help them in their times of need, not giving them useful advice or some mild divination.
